“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”.(Psalm 121:2)

Sometimes, when you go through a phase of unanswered prayers; you immediately conclude that God has forgotten you. But, I want to remind you of what David says in Psalm 121:2, “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”(Psalm 121:2).Our God is an omniscient and an omnipresent God and no matter where you are; when you call on Him, He will come to you and hear your prayers (Psalm 145:18). As you call unto Him, He will reach out to you and comfort you by saying, “Here I am”.

We have a very dear friend, Mr. Durai Pandidurai who often visits us and would pray with us, before we left for any Prayer Festival. And soon after the prayer, he would whisper to me saying, “ Evangeline, if you need anything just give me a call”. My dear friends, likewise, God says, “call on me in the day of trouble;I will deliver you, and you will honor me” (Psalm 50:15).
Scientists have recently claimed the existence of 100 billion galaxies and 1 galaxy has around 100 billion stars. What a mighty God! One can’t fathom, how God created the universe. And if God can call each star by its name (Psalm 147:4 ; Isaiah 40:26); you are of much worth, He calls you by name (John 10:3).

Now you can imagine His great strength and power. Among the million stars, not one escapes His notice; such is His might. If God can take care of the celestial bodies, how much more will He be concerned for you. He is a prayer answering God and loves each one of you. He will answer all your prayers and will work wonders and miracles for you. Our loving God is aware of all your minutest details and all that you’re going through today. The Lord calls each one of you by name, “I have summoned you by name; you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1). You may be one in the billion stars, yet God knows you and the hair of your head are numbered (Luke 12:7). Nothing misses His sight. God watches over you and your thoughts and there’s nothing in this world that misses His sight. So be encouraged and be of good cheer, as you have such a mighty God. He will meet all your needs.

When you are all by yourself and are looking for someone to help, Jesus will come to you and provide for all your needs. So, don’t get discouraged, the Almighty God- master of the whole universe is mindful of you and all that you require in life. Just keep trusting Him and He will surely work miracles for you.
