You will increase
Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers. (Leviticus 26:9)
There was a poor widow who did her best to bring up her son to a good status. The son studied well with an intention to get a good job so that he could see his mother live comfortably. On one side were the mother’s prayers and on the other side were the tireless efforts of the son. He became an engineer as desired and soon left to USA where he got a good job. But within a few months, he had to return due to some problem. Yet, the mother did not lose heart but continued to pray for her son. She also encouraged her son to continue his prayers to God. Their prayers were answered. Soon the son secured a better job and he went back to USA and he sent money to his mother regularly. By God’s grace, she repaid all her debts, bought a good house and lived a prosperous life. This is a true story and a miracle indeed.
The Bible says, “He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy” (Acts 14:17). Today how many of you are weary and exhausted because you don’t have enough money to meet your life’s basic needs? Yes! This promise from the Lord is yours today. Claim it with faith. The Bible very clearly says, “The blessings of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). Be strong and of good courage. Do not fix your eyes on the impossibilities. The Lord will perfect that which concerns you. He is the God of multiplication as He has promised you in His word: “I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers” (Leviticus 26:9). He loves to see you become great in number. Therefore, you will prosper for sure. It is your birthright!
Loving Father, I am Your child and I look up to You for help. Please change all my insufficiencies into affluence and goodness. Bless me to lend to others. To glorify Your wonderful Name, bless me and make me prosperous. Fill my heart with great joy as You have promised. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
