God Will Restore!

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor”. ( Isaiah 61:1)

Dr. Paul DhinakaranGod has a plan and purpose for your life. Irrespective of your circumstances, God will accomplish what He has planned for you. For the Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

You have been set apart, to share about His love and He has anointed you for the same, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor”(Isaiah 61:1). And, God has a purpose for everything that happens in your life. Most of the times, you can’t comprehend the narrow, difficult paths, that you have to walk through. But, it is through these narrow paths that God will renew your inner strength.

That’s what happened in the life of D.L.Moody. After undergoing much hardships and a cash crunch, somehow he built a beautiful church in Chicago. Everyone was happy about it. After the construction was over; one fine evening as he was walking down the streets of Chicago somebody came running to him, informing him about a fire that broke out in the church building. Moody turned back and was shocked to see the fire engulfing the newly built church. He just couldn’t believe his eyes. The church building was in ashes within no seconds. This broke his heart.
However, this didn’t thwart God’s plan for his life. Though, the church was no more, but his ministry never ended. The anointing in him revived the ministry again. Today, at the same place where the church was a heap of ruins, now there stands a Bible college proclaiming the love of God. Though, it has been a century now, yet this ministry for the glory of God, has never come to an end.

Dear ones, like D.L.Moody, you too need to stay strong and keep moving forward. Everything that has been delayed till now in your life, God will bring it to you at the right time, as you stay committed to your calling. Today, I want to encourage you to never give up, but rather keep trusting the Lord. For the Bible says, “ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time” (1 Peter 5:6). Our God is a faithful God and He will accomplish all that He has planned for your life and one day the life of Jesus will be manifested through you.

Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, I thank you for your promises for my life. Help me to stay committed to my calling. Strengthen me so that I may never lose hope and never give up, in the midst of my struggle.

In Jesus name, I pray.
Amen
