When we are devoted to God and walk in the ways that He wishes us to walk through, we will see positive outcome form whatever we do, because God has always kept good things in store for us. The most important thing that we need to do is ‘trust Him’ in all that He leads us through.  When we trust in Him, we will confidently surrender our Lives to Him; for Him to take control and lead us in the way He wishes. The word of God says “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3). What a great God we serve. He does not ask for sacrifice or offerings. He wants us to sit back and see the great and marvellous things that He is performing in our lives.  However, we cannot expect God to do our job we need to be wise in discerning the things that God wants us to do.  We read that “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might” (Ecclesiastics 9:10). So when we do our part God will do the rest for us. As we do our part we will be raised to greater heights. “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.” (Proverbs 22:29)

Many years ago, a heart-wrenching news was announced through the radio in Philippines. It was a request from the President of Philippines asking someone to rescue a woman. At the end of that announcement, a terrible scream from a woman was heard. It terrified everyone. But no one came forward to help her. Rev. Lester Sumrall, who was doing the Lord’s work, was moved with compassion and came forward to help her. A meeting was immediately arranged with this woman. He rebuked the devil that was tormenting her in the name of Jesus and she was instantaneously delivered. The President of the nation thanked him and asked him, “What can I do for you?” He replied, “Sir, please grant me a time slot in the National Radio to preach about the Lord.” The President accepted his request and granted him a prime slot, free of charge on National Radio. The Power of God descended mightily on that nation.

God saw the heart of his servant who served Him faithfully. When he stepped forward to help that woman, God stepped in to bless him with an open door for his ministry. Closed doors will automatically open as you remain faithful with whatever God has given to you. When you receive the Anointing of the Holy Spirit you will have a burden to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the rest of the world. In your pursuit of letting Christ’s love known to everyone you will surely embark on the most successful endeavours that will be a great channel of blessing to countless souls. Meditate every day on the Word of God as it will lead you with a clear mind. As the Psalmist says “His word is a light unto my feet” the obstacles and hindrances are clearly seen through the light and can be evaded when His word is deep-rooted in you.  At times of difficulties and trouble, take your time to examine if you are in Christ; check if you have trusted Him and submitted yourself to Him. Because it is written, “In all your ways submit to him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:6). There is nothing God cannot do. He will straighten your path and will also lead you to green pastures where you will find blessings and opportunities.  I pray that you will experience such blessing in your life. Remember not to bang on the door to open it. Just put in the key of faithfulness and open it.

Prayer:

“Loving Father, I thank You for everything You have entrusted into my hands. Help me to remain faithful at all times. May the next door of excellence open before me and Your name be glorified in all nations. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
