Blessing Message

“The desire of the righteous shall be granted.” (Proverbs 10:24)
Hello friend! It is such a joy to share God’s promise with you in this New Year. Today, we are going to meditate on the promise verse that is in Proverbs 10:24. It says, “The desire of the righteous shall be granted.” Yes my friend, whatever you desire God will grant it today. Who are the people God calls as righteous? They are the people who read The Bible everyday and talk to God. When you read The Bible, God reveals many things to you – on what you should do, how you should live, and how you should face the situation you are dealing with on that day. God teaches and reveals things to you when you read the bible and He talks to you through the Bible. It is not only that; when you pray, it is not just a one-way conversation but it is like talking to a friend. He reveals things to you.

In Romans 8:27, The Bible says, “He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” When you pray, the Holy Spirit helps you to pray according to the will of God. Do you know, what happens when you live your life according to the will of God? God puts desires in your heart which is for your own good and which will be for the glory of God. Therefore, you start asking God the things which are of God and the desire He puts in your heart. Psalm 62:5, tells “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” Because God is our hope, all you need to do is trust in Him. ___ Therefore, from today, start praying according to the will of God and learn what the will of God is through reading the Bible. God will become so close to you as written in Isaiah 65:24: “Before they call, I will answer; while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Today, as you do this, God will grant you all that you desire, which will be for your own good and for the glory of god.

Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,

my heart’s longing sometimes brings a lot of confusion but help me to know your will. As I pray and talk to you, help me to have your desire as my desire. Teach me what I need to do. Show me the plans that you have for me. Help me to pray according to your will. As I pray, let everything happen for my good and for your glory. Let me shine in this world and share your love to everyone. As I live a successful life – a life full of hope, let people around me be drawn to you. Bless me today and fulfill my heart’s desires according to your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
