Blessing Message

“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” (Isaiah 66:13)
My dearly beloved, today may the Lord embrace you with his loving hands and comfort you. This is what the Lord says in Isaiah 66:13. “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” If you read the 12th verse, the Lord says “you will be nursed, carried by arm and dandled on knees.” Our Lord is just like a loving mother. He is a God, who has loved you with an eternal love.

I fondly remember my mother. She loved me very much. When my marriage was settled and getting arranged, she gave me all kinds of nutritious food and tried very hard to make me put on little weight. She would start providing me with healthy and tasty food right from the moment I woke up. She would beat eggs in milk and force me to drink it. She used to keep saying that I needed to put on weight. She used to make me eat all the three times of the day, feeding me with her own hand. My mother’s love was very special. She prayed very specially for me. It is through her prayers that I am serving the Lord today. However, the love of God is much greater and special than that of a mother. The Lord has said that he will comfort you like a mother. Yes, beloved God will comfort you like a mother.

What happens when God comforts you? The answer is found in Proverbs 8:30. “I was beside Him and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” The lord comforts your soul in a similar manner. You are the delight and joy of his heart and rejoice in his presence. In Zephaniah 3:17, the scripture says, “He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” God’s special and eternal love makes us to rejoice in his presence. David describes this in II Samuel 6:21 “It was before the Lord, who chose to appoint me ruler over Israel, I will play music.” May the Lord bless you also with such kind of joy and comfort you. May the Lord be close to you according to Psalm 139:5 – “You have hedged me behind and before, and laid your hand upon me.” Today, may you experience the love of God, which is like that of a loving mother. Just like a mother, God is going to shower you with his kisses, embrace you, and hold you. As David says in Psalm 23:3, the Lord shall comfort and restore your soul. When your soul flourishes, your life will supernaturally flourish in all aspects. That is the heart of a mother. She always wants her children to live life to the fullest and enjoy a blessed and happy life. Our Lord also has the heart of a mother.

Prayer:
My loving heavenly Father,

I thank you for speaking to me today through this scripture. Lord, comfort me according to this promise. I am so broken and shattered. I really feel that I cannot continue on with my life anymore. I pray that your comfort will restore my life.
